2/3/2026 Courtesy Reminder: Street Parking Considerations

We kindly ask all residents to be mindful when parking vehicles along community streets. This is especially important during the winter months, when waste management services and snow plow operators need clear access to perform their duties safely and efficiently.

Vehicles parked on the street can delay or prevent trash collection and snow removal, creating potential safety hazards and inconvenience for the community. Whenever possible, please use driveways and designated parking areas, particularly during inclement weather.

Thank you for your cooperation and for helping keep our neighborhood safe, accessible, and well maintained for everyone.

Welcome to Portofinovillas.org! The official website for our Homeowners Association. On behalf of our Association. Please take a minute to register with our site if you have not already done so. For those of you that are new to Portofino Villas, Welcome! This site has all the resources for our association. PLEASE be sure to add your email address so that you can stay current with all things Portofino. We would also love to hear your feed back. Let us know what other features, links or information you'd like to see added. Check out the Rules and Regulations Handbook and all our other policies for the Association under our Members Section on the left.

2/19/2019 A couple of Association Members have voiced concerns with our snow removal contractor damaging grass near the curb when they come through. A recommendation is to purchase orange flag staffs to stick in your yard where the grass begins when covered with snow. This will assist the contractor with identifying where your yard begins as they plow our roads.

As a reminder Commercial Vehicles owned or used by residents shall follow the policies set forth as defined in the "Declaration of Restrictions for Portofino Villas Subdivision".

Any commercial vehicle(s) owned or used by residents shall follow the policies set forth as defined in the “Declaration of Restrictions for Portofino Villas Subdivision” and as clarified below:

· Prohibited vehicles include work vans, box trucks, tow trucks, semi-trucks, work trailers and other large commercial vehicles with or without written advertising.

· Prohibited vehicles may be allowed on resident’s premises so long as they are fully concealed within a standard garage.

· Commercial vehicles that display (1) limited advertising, (2) that are used as a primary vehicle for residents and (3) are smaller than a work van are permitted to be located on resident’s premises outside of the garage.

· In the case of conflict, final determination of acceptability will be the responsibility of the Architectural Review Committee. There is no appeal process of the decision of the ARC as the approval or disapproval of the vehicle appearance is final.

& Any dumping in the woods adjacent to our sub or on our common lands is Illegal. If any dumping activity is suspected, we will contact the Macomb County Sheriff. We will fully cooperate with the intent to seek prosecution and all clean up expenses will be the responsibility of the homeowner. If you see any suspicious activity please report it to the Macomb County Sheriff.
